I had food poisoning after eating a thai fish dish the symtoms were (violent) diahorea and vomiting. I was prescribed levomac 500. Was this the correct medicine ? ## Did it help? Levomac contains the active ingredient Levofloxacin, which is an antibiotic and is effective at treating many different types of bacteria.
