I am so scared from what I read... I just wanna know if my knee and elbow pain will be permenant or it will takes sometime to go... please HELP ... ## Have you consulted your doctor? They are really the only person qualified to help you discover what is causing the joint pain and, if it is from the medication, if any permanent damage has been done. There is really no way for anyone to tell you that just based on the limited information in your post. What were you taking the Cipro for?

I began taking this medication on Tuesday. I understand it is the generic versions of Bactrim. I immediately felt a relief in the congestion and went on to take the 2nd and 3rd dose on Wednesday. While sleeping, I awoke with cramps up and down my thighs and calf. To say the least, that was a sleepless night. I telephoned my doctor the next day, on Thursday, to question with this could be a side affect of the drug. He did not believe so. By mid-day on Thursday, I could not stand in one spot for more than a minute. My legs and feet began to ache and forced me to sit. I have been in excrutiating pain. I returned to my Doctor on Friday and he suggested I stop the medication. I went directly to the Emergency to get a blood analysis. Everything came back fine. Again the doctor in the hospital...

I have some liquid amoxil in the fridge that was mixed in March of this year. Would it still be good? ## It's very doubtful, once mixed, the liquids are usually only good for about 7 to 10 days, then they should be disposed of properly. Didn't the pharmacy put an expiration date on it?

I have some expired clinamycin it is 5 and a half years old. Is it any good at all? ## No, after that long of a time period, it has most likely lost most of its effectiveness and should be disposed of properly. Not only will it be very questionable at treating any infections, but it can severely increase the risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. Are there any other questions or comments?

Hi, I have been taking doxycycline for about a year to fight back chronic MRSA Staph infection in the femur (had several operations on leg so far). A few months after I started taking Doxy I started developing what I thought at the time was general anxiety disorder as I would develop chest tightness/pressure and general nervousness which in turn would make it extremely difficult to concentrate at work and hard to hold up conversations with people. Sure I have some anxiety over bills, work, life, but nothing that I obsessively worry about.
