Antibiotics For Gums

I have been having gum problems for two years, pain, exposed roots, etc. my dentist would treat me by amoxicillin and antibiotic packs implants along with deep cleaning saying "let's see if this works" I keep asking for a referral to a periodontist but she kept saying we are trying to prevent that but all she is doing is maxing out my yearly coverage (I have great dental plan). I switch dentist and explain to him all that has been done and even brought past records but he didn't want to see them and now He is doing the same thing deep cleaning and antibiotics. I brush all the time, floss all the time, rinse with antiseptic mouth wash all the time. I am tired of taking antibiotics I can't take the pain and I try not to take the prescribed pain medications because of work but I can't keep taking OTC pain relievers .Over the course I have lost 4 teeth. Any idea how I can them to refer me before they run my yearly benefit coverage out or before I end up losing all my teeth

Unfortunately, many dentists are like that and I don't have any ideas for you on how to get them to think otherwise.

The only thing I think you can really do is try a different dentist, yet again.

I knew years ago that there would no saving my teeth, soft enamel and other issues ran in my family. No matter how well we tried to take care of them, they'd just fall apart, but I went through root canals, extractions, tons of fillings and etc., because none of them would listen to me.

What is your general location? Perhaps someone can recommend a good dentist in your area.
