Antibiotics With No Penicillin

Please advise a non penicillin antibiotic for tooth infections!

recurring abscess under bad tooth ,antibiotics no penciling ,needed to subside before going to dentist , ?

There are quite a few antibiotics available that are in different classes.

You can learn more Erythromycin details here.

That link will tell you about one of them.

It's really just a matter of finding one that will treat your infection properly.

Your doctor or dentist should be able to prescribe one, if you let them know that you can't take Penicillin.

johnthehat, the dentist will need to see you to prescribe the antibiotic, that's the only way to get one.

It isn't that it must subside before they see you, it's that they can't do work on the tooth, while it's still severely infected, without causing you a lot of pain, because it won't numb properly.

However, they can look at it and prescribe the correct medication.

Hi, I am taking amoxicillin every 8 hours for my tooth infection. I usually take it @ 8pm and by mistake I took it @ 12am. Could this be a problem?
