Antibiotic - Metronidazole 250 Mgs Bid

My prescription says 2 tabs every 8 hours, but I'm wondering if I could take 3 every 12 hours?

You should follow the prescribing instructions.

The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and stomach pain.

Are you on any other medications? How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?
