What am I supposed to do if I accidentally took my antibiotics 4 hours too early? I must take it every 8 hours, but I accidentally took my dose after 4 hours and just realized it... The antibiotics were given for wisdom teeth removal.

In most cases, that would not be considered an overdose, unless you are allergic to the antibiotic, or suffer from certain problematic medical conditions.

However, according to NIH reports, you may experience worsened side effects, which could include nausea, dizziness, headache, and diarrhea.

Did you experience any adverse effects?

Of course, it is always best to consult your doctor, or pharmacist to be sure.
