Antibiotic Red Capsule 3147 Teva

I was given about 6 of them by a friend for an absess on my arm. Is it safe to take them for an absess? Will it help heal it; possibly make it go away without having to go get it lanced and squeezed at the hospital.

It may help briefly but 6 of them won't make the abscess go away. It needs to be drained. If it isn't drained you'll eventually get a fever and the infection will spread. Trust me. I ended up in the hospital for 13 days cause I put off getting an abcess drained in my leg and got an infection in my entire calf. If I had waited any longer I could have lost my leg or the infection could have spread to any of my vital organs. Especially the heart.
