Antabuse Use With Alcohol

I took 1 250mg around 11:00am. Will anything happen if I use any product that contains alcohol?

It will do what it is supposed to, it may cause nausea, vomiting, flushing, sweating, thirst, fainting, and weakness, according to FDA reports.

It is best to avoid all products containing alcohol, while taking Antabuse.

I have found that taking Antabuse 250mg once a week has largely reduced my drinking. It allows me to drink 1 evening in the week because after 6 days the meds have been flushed out. I know this is not ideal, but at the moment it works for me.
