Antabuse And Weight

I've been taking antabuse for 20 days now, which is truely a blessing, freeing my mind. I haven't thought about alcohol and I truely believe It's helping me in many ways.

However, I know what to do to lose weight, and I know how my body works. I'm very health oriented (beside the alcohol binges I took part in) and I can't seem to lose any weight. I've had a rutine for years now, and since the antabuse it has changed, and I notice It.


Anyone else notice anything with antabuse and weight? I'd like to hear about It :D

Have you consulted your doctor?

In most cases, people actually lose weight while taking Antabuse, due to the fact that since they aren't drinking their caloric intake is lower and there is less fluid retention.

Hi, i started taking antabuse end of july16 and have put on about 2 stone. Im glad its helped me not to drink but not glad about the weight gain.

I've takens Antabuse for several months and have lost 20 lbs without trying. My appetite is down but I eat well and feel sooo much better with not drinking especially over the holidays.
