I'm in my third trimester (31 weeks and 1 day) and my Dr gave me the Anaerobyl 400g pills to take and I started to feel dizzy after taking them and had lots of nauseous feelings and a loss of concentration just minutes after I took them, and then now it just hurts down there where the baby is. Could this be normal?

According to MedlinePlus, Anaerobyl is used to treat infections of the reproductive system, GI tract, skin, heart, bone, joint, lung, blood, nervous system, and other areas of the body.
It is also used to treat STDs and bacterial vaginosis.
This medication is in a class of drugs called nitroimidazole antimicrobials, which works by stopping the growth of bacteria.
However, only your doctor knows for sure why he decided to prescribe you an antibiotic in the first place. So you would essentially have to ask your doctor to find out more details about the alleged infection, where it's location was, how severe it is, and how it might've been affecting your period all this time.

Hi. I've been experiencing brownish discharge for some time now and severe periods which are not normal, as the blood is not red. So i decided to go to the clinic and the nurse there prescribed me Anaerobyl 400mg (5 pills to take at the same time) with 2 other pills, and also an inj. since I've been seeing my periods for 2 weeks now nonstop. Why are my periods not stopping? Is my life at risk or what? Can Anaerobyl 400 help stop my period? Please advise.
