Herniated Disc in NC Says:
My doc prescribed 15mg Amrix for a "severely herniated disc. This is the only new thing I'm taking. Today was 3rd day & my stomach hurts extremely badly. I took a Prilosec, Zantac 150mg & TUMS, to no avail. Stomach pain is listed in the Package Insert. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks!

Sorry to hear about your situation. I also looked up the side effects of Amrix (Cyclobenzaprine) and found the following symptoms listed on NIH.gov, categorized as rare side effects:
Bloated feeling or gas
Indigestion / constipation
Nausea or vomiting
Stomach cramps or pain
I would encourage you to contact your doctor if the symptoms become too bothersome or severe. He/she may be able to recommend some other alternative to this medication. I hope you get around to feeling better soon!
