What were your results? ## I was working with Physical Therapy to advance from a wheelchair to a walker already and then added Ampyra to the mix. I can't say for sure whether the Ampyra helped, or the PT just finally kicked in, but I am now just using a walker rather than the wheelchair. That said, most medications can take 30days or more to reach their full effectiveness. There is no medication, however, that works for everyone. 1 REPLY UpdatedI have taken Ampyra for 1 week. Finally got it.... frustrating.... long wait. I'm walking better, faster. Less fatigue. But have headaches, insomnia, balance is worse, nausea..... but still positive! I have had a mild relapse. Will I continue to have relapes, or only initially. First one in almost 2 years. A little worried about that. ## oops... that supposed to be SIDE EFFECTS.
