I started taking ampitrexyl less than 24 hours ago for an abscessed tooth. I started my first dose with two 500 milligram capsules then I took 1 capsule every 4 hours ending with a total of 2000 milligrams for the day. I woke up this morning with no tooth pain and plan to continue for the next three days taking 3 500 milligram pills so 1500 milligrams. I will take one capsule every 8 hours for 3 days. I must say I am very impressed with this product.

Hi Kimbo,

Thanks for the heads up on this natural antibiotic and for sharing your first hand experience with it. I personally haven't heard of it before, but I looked up the ingredients and found that it contains the following: Andrographitis Extracts (450 mg) + Coridalys Yanhusuo (50 mg), along with a proprietary blend of: Burdock root + Microcrystalline cellulose + Spleen + Bee propolis + Echineacea extract + Garlic extract.

As an advocate/enthusiast for natural remedies, this seems like an excellent product to keep in the medicine cabinet.

Tooth aches are one of the most painful types of infections I've ever encountered, so it's intriguing to hear about something else that works without all the side effects that come with most prescription antibiotics.
