Amphetemine Salts

I was born with manic-depression as was my mother, her grandmother, my brother and my daughter. The ONLY medication that gets me out of bed and on my feet and out the front door is amphetemine salts. I do not have a thyroid gland, have chronic fatigue syndrome and have never had energy which made even drying myself off with a towel a chore because the towel was so darn heavy. I am 55 years old. When I do not take amphetemine salts, within one day I have withdrawn from the world as we know it. I am a high school teacher and I cannot miss day after day due to depression so debilitating that I'm afraid to get out of bed. Why should I stop the only medication that works for me?

This is a stimulant and can actually make the manic episodes worse, so you do have to be careful using it.
