Have a rash all over body doctor perscribe me amox/clav what kind of rash good this be & how long will it take to go away ## This is Amoxicillin with Clavulanic Acid, it is an antibiotic, it can be used to treat many types of infections. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea. As to how long it will take to go away, it really depends on what it causing the rash and how well this medication works for you. What did your doctor say was causing it?

This is a yellow capsule reading West-ward 993. I have a feeling it may be Amoxicillin. But am not quite sure. Can anyone shed some light on this? I have bad kidneys, plus Parkinsons disease, plus have had both knee replaced. I took Amoxicilina 2000mg daily for two years straight. I never felt better, I lost 75 lbs. quite couldn't figure out whyI was losing all this weight all of a sudden then I decided it was time to go off the pills, within three months I gained 50 lbs and started feeling terrible. What is the catch? ## Amoxicillin is nothing more than an antibiotic and that is a very high dosage and a very long time to be taking it. Why were you on it for so long? It should also not cause weight loss, like that. Have you spoken to your doctor about this?
