what is the shelf life of amoxicillin 45 ## These contain 500mgs of Amoxicillin and, if they have been dispensed in a pharmacy bottle, then the normal shelf life is 1 year from when you had it filled. After that year, they start to lose effectiveness. If they are in the original factory sealed container, their shelf life may be longer. As part of flu, I had congetion with flum accumulation. Tried a course of mild antibiotics 250 mg but still traces of flum used to come out with cough. So I thought of taking Amox-500 mg (it was available at home). After taking tablet I realized that I shouldn't have taken such a strong dose and now I want to stop. I was prescribed this 4 days ago for a horrible ear infection brought on by a sinus infection, and no relief. I DON'T SEE WW951 LISTED AS AMOXICILLIN ## I just looked this up under a few drug databases, and can confirm that WW 951 is in fact Amoxicillin (875 mg). The manufacturer of this specific pill is West-Ward Pharmaceutical Corporation.
