Hi, could you please explain if this tablet betaclav is causing so many problems with people. Then why is it still been perscribed?? Why are people still been given this tablet to take. My husband was on the Betaclav 1000 and his eyes are yellow, skin rash, tired and vomiting. On the pamphlet it states one tablet, 12 hourly yet he was told to take two tablets, one in the morning and one at night. I have had seven teeth extracted a week ago. I am on amoxicillin 500 3 times a day as I have an infection and in terrible pain! I have been on them for 3 days, almost 4. In december I developed bad tooth pain and a sore on the gum in a left molar. I have a heart murmer and my blood press.rose to a high level but was erratic and other times a normal rate. I called a dentist and he said to go to the ER. I did and they prescribed amoxicillin at 500mgs every 8 hrs. The last dose was on Jan 3, 2013 and by then the tooth problem was gone. I went to a dentist and he found no infections but said a molar on the opposite side which had lost some filling should be repaired soon. I made an appt. with him, but in the meantime it developed a blister near the root and soreness at the gumline.
