Hi...I am no longer insured because of my job change; before that i was visiting the dentist on a regular basis. He prescribed me some amoxicillin for an infection..right i didn't follow the rules and finished the amoxicillin. Now my infection is back. Is it ok to take a few to get the swelling down? I have been taking Amoxicillin for 5 days now. After 2nd dose I had severe gas pain in lower right intestine, but that passed. I take probiotics, and added yogurt which helped that. I have gone back and forth with diarrhea and constipation, mostly diarrhea. Have headaches on and off with this as well. I began having a bit of vaginal soreness Saturday, and now 4 days later it is getting worse. Severe itching, rawness, and also anal itching and rawness. Sex is extremely painful, and just wearing clothes hurts. I am thinking I may be having a severe reaction to this drug. Calling Doctor today. Also taking Flonase, or the generic, which is a steriod. I had 4 teeth pulled out and had no infection...my gum is swollen and I'm on amoxicillin as well as tylenol #3 and chlorhexidine rinse. Everything was going good until I started the rinse yesterday.
