You shouldn't have a problem taking this, it's not a sulfa based medication, but I'd suggest checking with your doctor or pharmacist to be certain.

Are they aware of your allergy? If so, then anything prescribed for you should be checked, before they give it to you.

This may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
