Amoxicillin Clavulanic Vs Just Amoxicillin

Could a person just be allergic to the clavulanic acid that is combined with amoxicillin but be fine with just straight amoxicillin?

Yes, that is possible, just like some people are allergic to the Naloxone in Suboxone and not the Buprenorphine.

The FDA lists the typical allergic reactions as possibly including nausea, swelling, trouble breathing, skin rash, and hives.
