That interaction is a risk when they are taken together, according to NIH reports. Thus, just switching out from one to the other, at the next dosing time, should be fine, unless your pharmacist instructs otherwise.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of most antibiotics as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash.
