Amoxicillin A Sulfa Drug

My blood panel was all good except my platelets were low - 99. I'm on a 3rd round of augmentin clavanate for cat bite and then sinusitis. Would the medicine cause this? Last time it was 196.

It may just be due to the infection, IE: your sinusitis. Your doctor should recheck, once it has cleared up to see if the situation corrects itself.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of antibiotics as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
