Amoxicillin Dosage One Pill Twice Daily

I was prescribed amoxicillan for strep throat. They told me to take one pill twice daily. The dosage amount is 875mg. How many hours apart do I take one pill twice daily?

According to the FDA, roughly every 12 hours, though it doesn't have to be exactly precise. For instance, if you take one at 8pm and then don't wake up until 8:30am or 9am, things will still be fine to take the next dose.

Side effects for this antibiotic are also listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
