Amoxicillin Clavulanic Acid For Sinus Infections (Top voted first)

Hi,

I am taking 1000-62.5 amox-clav er. 2 pills in am and 2 pills in the pm. Is this too much to take?

Was that the dosage prescribed for you?

Doctor's will sometimes prescribe higher amounts of an antibiotic, if an infection is particularly severe or hasn't responded to prior treatment.

However, you may experience more severe side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

Are you experiencing any side effects from it? Has the infection improved?
