Amoxclav 875-125 Tab (sandoz); Diarrhea

I took the above med. for 10 days....2xday. I had no diarrhea while taking it. Was finished with the med. for 3 wks. & THEN THE DIARRHEA STARTED! Have had it for 5 days now & is just WATER! Most things I eat....go through me! I read I shouldn't take over-the-counter diarrhea meds., because could make it WORSE! WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?!

You may have developed a complication as a result of the antibiotic. Have you consulted your doctor, yet? You need to have this checked out, as it may require medical treatment. C. Difficile is sometimes a risk to taking antibiotics.

As listed by the FDA, its symptoms may include diarrhea, flu like symptoms and abdominal cramps.
