Was prescribed this med (2/day for 7 days) for sinus infection, swollen glands and ear. Took as prescribed and finished. Felt a bit better for a day or two. Still have the ear and gland problem. Was drug not strong enough?

Amoxicillin with Clavulanic Acid is an antibiotic, the active ingredients in Augmentin.

It was a pretty strong dosage, but it is possible that your doctor didn't prescribe it for a long enough time period to completely clear up the infection or the infection could be resistant to it and you may need to take a different antibiotic.
