No, Amoxicillin with Clavulanic Acid, the generic for Augmentin is an antibiotic and no, it isn't time released, however, you may want to check with your doctor or pharmacist to ask if it is advisable for you to crush it. But generally, it is safe to do with anything that isn't time released.

This medication may cause side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, diarrhea and skin rash.
