Amox/pot/clav75/125mg sub for Augmentin 875mg the exact same medication?

I have chronic sinusitis. Have been seen by ENT, had CAT scan, been to allergist. My primary care dr. is on with major surgery, and I have fill-in dr.
I am sick again, fill-in dr. won't give me the same dose and strength and quantity that ENT had told my original primary care dr. to give me when I have an infection. I am getting very sick now.
Orig med: Augmentin XR 1000MG/62.5 mg #84 2 BID
New med: Amox/Pot Clav (Augmentin) 875-125 mg tab one pill BID
I have been taking the new med for 8 days and am getting worse.
Please advise on the difference between the two doses and what I should do.
