Amox K And Bladder Infections / Gerd
UpdatedI have Gerd. Have taken amoxicillin many times for bladder infections, but now am taking AMOX TR-K CLV for the first time for another bladder infection. The Gerd is really "acting up". Any suggestions?

What you are taking now is Amoxicillin with Clavulanic Acid, it is the generic for Augmentin and it is likely the Clavulanic Acid that is contributing to the increased GERD flare.
Learn more Augmentin details here.
Do you take anything for your GERD? Do you take the medication with food or on an empty stomach?
