Amox K Clav 875 Safety

I am taking amox k clav 875mg 2x a day and I have a bacteria infection (Boil). Can I drink beer while taking this? Thank you.

Amoxicillin with Clavulanic Acid, the active ingredients in Augmentin, is an antibiotic that is used to treat various types of infections.

Drinking while taking this medication may cause heightening of the side effects, such as worse nausea, drowsiness and dizziness. Thus, one glass of beer may be like drinking 2 and so on.

The doctor only put me on 2 doses a day. I was taking it as he stated. Now in your respondent to someone you stated every 12hrs. What could have happened to me if I was continuing to take it 2 times a day for 7 days? This is my second day taking it with other medication for the flu (named tamiflu). What reaction will the pill cause?

My doctor did not state how long i should take it for. He stated twice a day. I was taking medication before the 12 hour mark. The amoxicillin potassium clav 875mg.
