Amoxicillin with Clavulanic acid, the active ingredients in Augment, is an antibiotic used to treat various types of infections. So, if the toothache is caused by an infection, then yes, it may help.
Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
