I've been prescribed 90 Subutex a month. My doctor quit seeing patients for Subutex and I am seeing a doctor about Zubsolv in the morning. I'm worried about getting a high enough dose that I'm use to and the effects. Can someone tell me how many I will probably get a month? I'm worried.

Hello, Amanda! How are you? How did your appointment go?
The best thing to do would be to make sure he gets a copy of your records from the other doctor, so he can see what dose you were on and prescribe accordingly.
However, not all will prescribe a month's worth for a new patient. Some will start with only 2 weeks.
The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
