Amneal Pharmaceuticals Hydrocodone 10-325 (Page 11) (Top voted first)
UpdatedI have been taking hydrocodone 10-325 (made by Watson) for about a year. I picked up my prescription yesterday and instead of the normal yellow pill, I received a white oblong pill imprinted with m367 on it. I took 2 for breakthrough pain and had no relief what-so-ever. I called the pharmacy and was told that they will no longer be able to get the med from Watson. Does anyone know what has happened? I have chronic pain, and these white ones from Amneal Pharmaceuticals is not going to cut it. Has anyone else experienced this?
Re: Randi (# 179)
Thank you for info on Lupin. I take 10mg/325 and have been getting Mallincrap frrom WG in Dallas. Will request this for a change. Thank you much.
Dano -- Watson quit making those.
Re: Randi (# 191)
Thank you for your help.
Which pharmacy chain do you use?
My current one is saying that only generic brand they can get is this one I am on and some garbage ones I looked up.
I will ask them for this specific have my doctor send them order or switch pharmacy.
Again thank you for response and help.

I am currently taking a hydrocodone/acetaminophen 7.5 from Walmart. This medication causes me to be dizzy, sick, and does NOTHING for my pain. My doctor refuses to write anything else. They changed the manufacturer around March 2022 or so. I wasa told by the former head Pharmacist that they got a new provider and that several people complained about the new provider. I asked my Doctor if she would write a different substance and she refused. Who did Walmart change to? Any suggestions?
Re: James Christopher (# 187)
Watson has been discontinued for hydrocodone/acetaminopen since 2016. The people that bought them kept the Watson name for other than pain medication.
Re: cliffj (# 196)
Actually (imo) it's the 20% reduction in effective ingredients
Re: bellasmommy (# 9)
And Qualitest doesn’t make those kind anymore. They were the best for pain relief.
Re: Roro (# 203)
You are so right! Thanks for putting it all in perspective.
Re: cliffj (# 193)
It will say on the bottle in small print.
Re: olddog (# 212)
Qualitest sold their hydrocodone division to par industries... Par kept Alabama facility open a year or so (probably to use up inventory & fill contract) & been closed now about 5 years or so... Par facility is in NY. Par kept their pre-Qualitest formula (I think). They discontinued the Qualitest formula.
Hope this helps.
Re: James (# 16)
Me, too. I was given Vesta from CVS and went to Walgreens because twice my pils were short a pill at CVS and I can't have a pillclipper taking my medication who works there and they do nothing. One pill, twice that I know of. But the Amnea kicked my butt a little. I think it's stronger, personally.
Re: w john (# 106)
This is not correct. Many pain patients do not suffer negative side effect from their opiates. They also manage their pain with them.
When a patient has severe side effects from a medication. They need to go the ER.
Active and inactive ingredients in all medication must be listed. There are no ingredients not listed.
They are literally the same exact medicine same ingredients just different manufacturer. Your mind is telling you they don't work and your body believes you. It's true ask anyone you have to believe either they are better or the same . Your mind is a powerful piece of you that runs your entire system!! However, you run your mind if that makes sense and when it does your life will change for the better!!
I have taken the Amneal generic brand with good results..
Re: Dano (# 2)
You should try other pain options it sounds like you already are forming a habit sadly.....I feel for you I've struggled my entire life with substance abuse issues and I sounded just like you when something didn't go my way. Please seek help anyone like the pharmacy is going to look at you like you are a drug seeker especially if you call the manufacturer and your doctor might cut you cold turkey so he/she won't be enabling the issue.
Re: Melanie (# 7)
You need to get off of the pain meds Miss Melanie and try some other options sadly your liver and stomach have to be toast by now and any doctor that cares about society and their patients would red flag and ween you right away and look for better options.
Hello, Dano! How are you?
There's no way to know which manufacturer's product your pharmacy will carry at any given time.
You might be better served to talk to your doctor about trying a different medication.
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Is there anything else I can help with?
