Amneal Pharmaceuticals Hydrocodone 10-325 (Page 9) (Top voted first)

I have been taking hydrocodone 10-325 (made by Watson) for about a year. I picked up my prescription yesterday and instead of the normal yellow pill, I received a white oblong pill imprinted with m367 on it. I took 2 for breakthrough pain and had no relief what-so-ever. I called the pharmacy and was told that they will no longer be able to get the med from Watson. Does anyone know what has happened? I have chronic pain, and these white ones from Amneal Pharmaceuticals is not going to cut it. Has anyone else experienced this?

Amneal is an American company and this product is made in their New York plant. Not India. Made in USA.

Yes! I’m struggling with the same thing! I’m scared to talk to my dr. But I’ve been taking 10/325 of hydrocodone by Watson 4 x day for the last 2 years , I’ve been fine.... functioning working and pain is tolerable , last Fill was also 10/325 by New Brand by AMNEAL..... it’s doing absolutely nothing, I took 6 instead of my 4 and it’s still barley doing what the Watson brand did... and my mouth is soooo Dry it hurts to drink :( dr . Apt tomorrow what should I do.... I think I should try something different

I've been getting the Watson brand Norco 10-325. Now Walgreens gave me this month Amneal IP110. They give me a belly ache all day long. The Sciatic nerve pain is because of 2 herniated discs. Either the nerve pain is worsening causing my stomach aches all day long or the Amneals are causing it. The Watson brand 10-325 didn't cause me that problem. Those having to take pain pills because of chronic conditions and they won't operate and your 71, like me, should not be confused with those stealing them from their parents medicine cabinet or taking them for a "high". It seems there is no differentiation by the DEA or pharmacies (who act in lieu of your doctor who didn't prescribe the others for your individual pain requirements). Maybe in some cases the abuse wouldn't happen if the medication you are prescribed was not interfered with by new brand names or ineffective brand names and different side effect ingredients that you are not used to.

It is good that your local Walgreens was able to find some old labeled Watson generic for you. Watson was bought out by Amneal and they no longer manufacture generic hydrocodone under the Watson name. Because Walgreens has literally thousands of stores and maybe the Pharmacist located some at another Walgreens and did an intrastore transfer. Look it up how the Watson generic hydrocodone is no longer being manufactured. If you have a Pharmacist that cares and is willing to put in the work maybe they can locate some remaining Watson generic hydrocodone pills. They will eventually dry up though. They are no longer being manufactured.

Along with whatever they add that has made me suffer severe side affects!! Maybe these are listed but who knows what else is in it!! Im not the only one who has suffered from this lousy medication made by Amneal. Even the sleep aid that was prescribed to me, made by Amneal, gave me side affects!! I didnt know it was Ambeal brand until I checked the next morning after suffering a night of restless leg syndrome and no sleep. I dont get restless leg syndrome and it was a horrible experience!!

I guess everybody's physical composition is different. If the Actavis generics work for you then as far as you are concerned that is all that matters. I have spoken to two pharmacists at two different pharmacies and I was told by both of them that if I was going to stay with the hydrocodone/acetaminophen generic that I might try the brand name for a more consistent efficacy. I, of course, was denied the name brand by my insurance company because they needed more information. I just mailed my appeal letter today with all of my germane health history and I will see what they do now.

Did your doctor write Brand Name Medically Indicated on your prescription? If not, your appeal will be denied. If he did, your appeal might still be denied. If your appeal is denied, Your doctor needs to find out exactly what is required from him by the insurance company to get it approved.

Endo is still making Brand Percocet. But, it is highly doubtful your insurance will pay for it. Camber makes one of many generics for Percocet.

Yes! The pharmacist said they had it in the warehouse. It’s WATSON!!! I heard they were out of business, then heard they were being manufactured thru TEVA - could also be a last batch from the warehouse. I don’t know but I’m happy no weird side affects and it’s working!!!yaaaa

Mary [ or anyone else ] have you had any luck finding a pharmacy in or near Sacramento that carries Qualitest yellow Norco { made by Phar Pharm. now I think }.? I had a pharmacy tell me today they don't carry that product because of to many break-ins into their store. They agree it was their best generic Norco for pain, this is so wrong for chronic pain suffers . Junkies screwing up treatment for people that have a real need for pain relief

The M367 are made by Mallinckrodt not Amneal but I get the Mallinckrodt and no they don’t work as well as they did before the so called opioid crisis.
