I am 69 years old. I have been taking Amlokind 5mg for the last 3 years. My blood pressure is about 140/80. There is no pain in the body but my feet get swollen sometimes. Is it alright to take only half a tablet to see whether it reduces swelling without increasing blood pressure?

My problem is solved! Taking only half a tablet has helped. Now there is no swelling in my feet and my blood pressure remains normal.
