I DROVE AFTER TAKING AMBIEN AND DON'T REMEMBER EVEN GETTING IN THE CAR. HAS PULLED OVER AND CHARGED WITH DUI. I DON'T REMEMBER THE ENTIRE THING....VERY SCARED PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ANYONE ELSE. ## I hope that you got an attorney and fought the case , your doctor should have warned you of the possible effects that were possible, not to take away from your own accountability to read your warnings, but a lawyer should be able to get the charges dropped ## A lawyer may or may not be able to get the charges dropped. It is considered just as illegal and dangerous to drive under the influence of medications, as it is to drive under the influence of alcohol. This has happened to many people and, in most cases, the charges do not get dropped, because it is considered...

the 12 mg is too much- can I use a pill spliter with the ambien cr ## No, Ambien CR is a time released tablet and splitting the pill could result in your getting too much of the medication at once. In this case, the only solution is to ask your doctor to prescribe a lower dose or a non-time released formulation. Are there any questions or comments?

Oval, scored and has what appears to be a smiley face on the back. ## I received a pink, oval scored pill that has what appears to be a smiley face on the back. Does anyone know what this is? It was supposed to be 10mg. Ambien. ## Is it perhaps a quarter moon shape? There are some generic Ambien that have used that on them. Hi, Read Ambien CR is NOT available in >genericANY< ambien out of the country? (I have the prescription) ## No, at this time Ambien CR, in the U.S. is still under proprietary patent and is not available for generic production. I am not aware of what is available in other countries. Have you considered talking to your doctor about trying the regular Ambien that is not time released? It is available as the generic Zolpidem.

I take Ambien, could I have a side effect at bedtime if I take my Ra P Col Rite? ## The RA P Col Rite is a stimulant laxative, containing Docusate and Sennosides. Since the Ambien helps you sleep, it is probably not a good idea to combine them, to prevent accidents from loose stool, in case you cannot wake up. Have you consulted your doctor?

Can I take Ambien with Methocarbam, vitamin D, Metamucil, and Metforim? ## The side effect and contraindication profiles are not studied for VItamins and Supplements, as they are for prescription medications, so I cannot tell you much about using them with the VItamin D or the Metamucil. However, concomitant use of the Ambien and the Methocrabamol could result in Central Nervous System depression, such as slowed breathing and heart rate, so you must use them with caution. Is you doctor aware that you are taking all of these?

This is an orange pill I got when I refilled my prescription for generic Ambien. I tried it before. I read the information from other people on this website. I always cut them in half and take half at a time. These are really, really bitter and foul tasting but they do work. Luckily the recommended dose was good enough. ## Thanks for comments on the orange generic ambien -- that was info I was looking for.

Hi everyone. I'm just wondering which medication most of you consider to be the best sleep aid? Of course I've heard of the ever popular Ambien, Lunesta, etc. There are also over the counter products such as Tylenol PM and Advil PM which combine Diphenhydramine with Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen respectively. Lastly, there are certain natural treatments to help one sleep such as Melatonin. I'm looking for a consensus as to which one you think would be the most effective with the least side effects. Any thoughts appreciated!

Dark pink in colour. Oblong shape. No markings apart from an indentation line one one side of the tablet. 10 mg Zolpidem tartate tablets is the name stated on packaging. Shipped from India. Lic.No. 1752-OSP ## Without any markings, it is impossible to verify what it is. Since it is from outside the U.S. it can sometimes be hard even if it does have markings on it. The only real option you have would be to pay to have it lab tested. Did you order these online?
