Ambien 78 E Pill

Updated

I thought this was manufactured by Aurobindo? So why does my bottle say its manufacturer is North Star?

Is there something fishy going on that I don't know about? I will return to the pharmacy tomorrow to see if I got some bunk meds. None of this makes sense.

It is manufactured by Aurobindo, but Northstar is a licensed distributor for them. NDC code: 16714-0621 or 65862-0159

If you click on those NDC codes, you'll see that the first is listed under Northstar, and the other is listed under Aurobindo, but they both list the same tablet.

Some pharmacies list the distributor that it was purchased through, and some list the original manufacturer, it depends on their policies. However, it is the markings on the tablet that matter, since they let you discover the original manufacturer.

Aurobindo is garbage. I think they sell fake 5mg oxycodone to Rite Aid. Everyone else’s work so much better it’s scary.

Thought I'd chime in real quick ... Ambien is a brand name of the drug Zolpidem (the active ingredient) and appears to be distributed by a number of companies. Technically Zolpidem is the "generic" form of this drug, whereas Ambien is the brand name. If you have a script just see what it says on the container, whether they filled it as the brand or generic.
