Am I Protected?

I have taken all of week one and have taken the first two(scense today is tuesday) of the second week of the first pack and I had unprotected sex on the 1-30-12 am I protected?

However, as a general rule, if you start birth control on the first day of your menstrual cycle, you are usually protected immediately and if you start it at any other time, you have to take it for 7 days, before you are protected.
