Always Talk To Tour Doctor First About Side Effects

This isn't a question but more of a notice to everyone to mske sure you ask your doctor questions before getting on this medication. I am anemic and had a blood transfusion & waa on Meloxicam 7.5. My doctor always watched me on it & asked if i was ok. I had gotten in a car accident & that doctor upped the mg to 15 even after i told her aboyt my condition. I took ut for awhile but wasn't feeling right. I went to my doctor & he took me off it right away all together. I feel better. Glad i talked to my doctor

Hi Tracy,

I couldn't agree more with you on the notion that we should be asking our doctors more specific questions relating to whatever medication they intend on prescribing us. Usually patients wait until they experience a problem before bringing something to their doctor's attention, but wouldn't it be good to know what to anticipate before problems even manifest? I always research medication before I take it, just because I'm very cautious about what goes into my body (food included). They put so many fillers and additives into pretty much everything that isn't an organic fruit, vegetable, or herb that grows naturally. And there's no real way to determine how it might affect you until after you take it. However, knowing what you're getting yourself into before hand can diminish a lot of stress if something were to happen.
