Alvogen Oxycodone 10-325 Pill (Page 2) (Top voted first)
UpdatedI read this information about the pills on here and people want to make you think your crazy about medicine you have been taking for years. Like I have been taking the WATSON brand Oxycodone 10/325 for years and 1 always worked. It was the only pain med I was taking. I get up in the morning and hurt so bad I would take 1 and with in 15 minutes I felt I could make it through the day. I always had some left over every month. On Jan 2014 I went to get my meds filled and all the sudden no one seems to have the WATSON brand so I got stuck with ACTAVIS brand pill A333 on it for the whole month of Jan I hurt so bad then in Feb I told my Dr when I got my Prescription he told me to try another pharmacy. I did and I got the ALVOGEN Pill Yellow 230 and the same thing. it worked a little better but not like all the years before Jan 2014. We are not DUMB there is a difference. It's not just 1 person who has noticed it..Read on here several people have complained about the medicine not working as well. So for people who believe their medicine is not working..IT"S NOT WORKING!! they try to tell you it's the same to make your mind believe it..Like a PSYCH. effect...
Re: Redcherries1 (# 24)
I agree the alvogen works best. I hgv ave tried theMallinckrodt .it didn't work.
Big Red Dog, you're not crazy. As you can see from many posters its the manufacturer. Taking amneal brand is like picking up meds from pharmacy then walking straight to trash can. You will neef to shop around and before they fill the script ask, WHO IS THE MANUFACTURER. I had to do this until I found a small, friendly pharmacy not to far from my office. He knows the brands I prefer (Endocet or now also Alvogen). He tells me let him know at least 2 days prior to my dr appt so he can have them when it's time to fill script.
i broke out in hives, internal, external. greed, bephol is getting even. i felt poisoned. no one will tell me what binding agents are used. population control?
I have Oxycodone/APAP 10-325; V-230 by Alvogen.
Are these the same thing as Oxycodone-Acetaminophen 10-325?
I've been taking Alvogen oxycodone-apap 10/325 pills for a while. I can only take this manufacturer's version as the others cause headaches and dry heaves. I live near Valparaiso, Indiana and Fahrenheit pharmacies have been bought out by CVS & they will not order them for me.
I'm in the Tampa area. Publix carried my Alvogen Oxycodone 10-325 for years but now there is a back order so they switched manufacturers. Does anybody know of any pharmacies in my area that still carry this manufacturer? They are round yellow pills with 230 inscribed on them.
Re: Jerrysec (# 3)
Don’t get Amneal pharmace manufacturer it is not effective for pain! I agree Mallinkrodt works somewhat better is any pharmacy carrying Endocet or Watson anymore?
I have been taking Percocet in different doses shapes & sizes for the past 15 years. With APP & without... I find absolutely have find very very very little difference (I say three times) between the different generic on the market & I find it bizarre that these people say they find drastic differences between them. I see a Less then 5% difference between manufactures.... Living in south Florida,Surviving thru the Pill Mill fiasco & swept clear thru the other side. The Tamper resistant Oxy-Contin & the unavailability of 15 & 30 mg IR has changed the market here in Florida. God luck to my brothers & sister here in the sunshine state..
Hello, Selena! How are you? I am very sorry about the problems that you had.
Generics are allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20% of the active ingredients. The FDA considers this an acceptable therapeutic window and usually, the differences are negligible and don't cause any problems.
However, the fact of relevance here is that each generic is only required to measure against the name brand, not the other generics. So, say the one you were taking that worked well for you for years was slightly higher in the amount of the active ingredients and then the generic you were suddenly switched to was low in them….
I'm sure you can see where I'm going here and can get the gist of were the problems arise.
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
I wish I had a solution to offer everyone, but I don't. Sometimes, if the difference isn't really significant your body will adjust in about a week, but that doesn't always happen.
Are there any other questions or concerns?
