Alvogen 10/325 Yellow 230 Percocet (Top voted first)

I take Percocet all the time every 6 hours. This time i noticed the pill was round instead of oblong and has 230 on one side. This pill is worthless, I feel absolutely nothing. NO PAIN RELIEF AT ALL. This pill is a fake, a sugar pill or something. I paid $91 dollars cash for this, now i'm broke with no medication. There is no medical properties in this pill what so ever. I've been ripped off like some common drug pusher. How do I live now? The first thing I should do is call the FBI, then the FDA and the police too.

On your next refill call your Pharmacy before you go to them and see what type of Percocet they have. If you don't like the manufacturer they have ask if they will order the type you want. If not call around till you find what you want and take your business there!

Unfortunately, there really isn't much you can do. Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20% of the active ingredients....and they don't have to measure against each other, only against the name brand. It was enacted to bring generics to market faster, in hopes of creating market competition to help keep prices lower.

Thus, it is possible that the one you were previously taking actually contained 12mgs of Oxycodone, while the new one may only contain 8mgs of Oxycodone. The FDA considers this to be an acceptable therapeutic window, and most people never notice a difference. But, in some cases, when someone has been taking the one made by a certain manufacturer for a long period of time, or if they are sensitive to any changes in their medications, they may experience problems, such as loss of efficacy, withdrawal symptoms, or new side effects, if the amounts are higher.

I know this does not help, you are in pain and miserable, I am just informing you of how the law currently stands. No one should have to live in pain and I wish I could help more.

The only suggestion I can make, though, is to talk to your doctor, they may be able to prescribe an alternative medication, for a week, or so. Since the differences are actually miniscule, most people do adjust after a week, or so.

Ohm my God I am having the same problem I am just nauseous from these pills and I am in such pain it's not even funny I've been on percocets for almost 3 years before and I have never heard this bad in every day it gets worse it's been 9 days

They are correct. The stupid FDA makes millions, probably billions, on just pain medications alone but yet unfortunately are able to have that 20% window gap. It is IMO very stupid and they know what they are doing which is the sad part. When there are people who actually need the relief we have no options if these generics keep getting worse and worse. Plus, its ridiculous which I'm sure y'all know already, the hoops they make you jump through just to see the dang doctor. My luck was just being upfront and having a good relationship with my doctor. So I addressed the situation and she said ok this will solve the problem, as she checked the box on the script pad that says "no substitutions". I hope that helps!!
