Altosec Omeprazole Causes Miscarriages?

Please advise if using Altosec omeprazole capsules can cause a miscarriage, I am +- 6 weeks pregnant??

Im 18 and trying yo become pregnant. Iv been off birth control for about 5 months now.. im taking escitalopram for anxity and depression and omeprazole for acid reflux... can that cause a miscarriage?

There is a warning against taking it during the first 3 months of pregnancy, since there might be some risks, according to NIH warnings, such as fetal birth defects, or miscarriage. It would be best to make sure your doctor knows that you were taking it, so they can monitor you, as necessary.

Toni, have you consulted your doctor about what is safe for you to take? As I stated above, there can be some risks to taking Omeprazole, once you become pregnant, there are also some risks associated with the Escitalopram, such as the child developing pulmonary hypotension, according to FDA studies.
