Altosec 20 Mg Substitute

I don't even know if anybody would reply, but I will ask here and see who replies asap... My son is working overseas in China and I just want to know if you could please assist me. Could you please tell me if there is something in China that's the same as Altosec 20 that he can get there at the doctor, that will help? He's got a subscription for Altosec for 6 months, but I just want to know if anybody can tell me what medication he can get there that will be the same? It is urgent.

Altosec contains the active ingredient Omeprazole, it is a proton pump inhibitor that is used to reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach to help treat conditions such as GERD, heartburn, ulcers, and gastritis. Most countries have it, or other similar medications available, many even over the counter, so he should be able to ask in any chemist's, and they will be able to show him what is equivalent there.

Omeprazole may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, stomach pain, and flatulence.
