Hi I have a concern guys please do help me. I had taken pills for almost a year. I had missed 2 pills consecutively then the day after I had sex with my bf ,unprotected sex. What should I do for me not to get pregnant?I cant afford to be pregnant. He was also shocked when he did not notice that his finished already later he notices it when I asked him.please help.

Hi i've taken the althea pills right after unprotected sex, withdrawal method. This happened last march 5, at 3pm i drank 4pills then at 3am 4pills again. I've continued using it until now march 28, 1pill every morning. My worry is that im supposed to have my menstruation last march 15 and yet until now it hasnt come. How long should i take the pill? Or should i stop taking it now? Thank you!

and now this is my 3rd pack. On the third pill. we had an unprotected sex with my boyfriend. AM I SAFE for pregnancy?
1st and 2nd pack. I never missed to take a pill at the same time. 8pm

Ideally, start the new pack on the last day of your period. If you take it that way, immediate yung effect ng pill.
If you took it any other day, you have to have other methods of contraception (ex condom or withdrawal) if you want to engage in intercourse.

No, it actually helps prevent pregnancy. By upping the dose, one can take it after unprotected intercourse as an emergency contraceptive to help prevent pregnancy.
Just one tablet, taken after intercourse, will not work. It either needs to be a higher dose, or a woman must be taking it regularly, each day.
However, upping the dose on your own is not safe and should only be done under your doctor's instruction and approval.
