I am taking althea pills and i wrongly took the pill which is supposed to be taken lastly. I took the one which is for tuesday instead of saturday.

Hi, its my first time to use althea pills.. im on my 5th day free pill, yesterday I had a brownish discharge until today.. is it normal to have a brownish discharge?.. is it my monthly period already?.. hope you can clear my thoughts.. thanks..

Hello ask ko lang po is it normal kung delayed ang mens ko while taking althea? Di naman po ko nakikipag intercourse so I dont have to worry if pregnant ako..it's my 3rd time to use it.nakakabother lang po yung pagdelayed ng mens ko..

I am taking diane 21 pills but its kinda expensive for me..coz it cost php 603.00.. i want to try althea coz its cheaper than diane.. this day is my 6th day of the 7 days allowance.bfore you take another pad .im planning to take althea after that 7 days allowance..its that okay?

Taking althea for first time, instructions say take at beginning of period but can be started anytime in the month regardless of period. Why does one have to have partner use condom for first 7 days?

Candice, from what I am finding, all Althea pills contain the same ingredients, so it actually doesn't matter which pill you take, as long as you haven't missed any, you will still be protected against pregnancy. Just continue taking them, as normal, adjusting by a day and you should be fine.

Roxanne, it can help balance your hormones, but they are not used for weight loss. The only way they will help is if your weight increase has been purely do to a hormonal issue. Have you consulted a doctor?
