Althea Pill After Taking 1st Pack

I started taking Althea last April 2017, my OB asked me to take the pill since I have PCOS and that I has cyst on my left and right ovary, right after I finished the first pack I can say that I was satisfied with the result since I got my period 5days, but when I take the 2nd pack I had light period like light spotting never had a heavy flow, the spotting takes 2 days, I still continue taking the pill though but since May up until now I no longer had a normal period like what I had last May, is this normal? I hope to hear back from you.

Yes, hormonal contraceptives my change your cycle, as a side effect, including how long you bleed, and how much you bleed, according to NIH documents. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability.

Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications?
