I still have some Xanor SR from about 2 1/2 years ago and would like to know the shelf life. Is it still safe to take now to prevent panic attack. ## It is absolutely still safe to take, Xanor (alprazolam) does not become more toxic because of age so you will suffer no ill effects. However, depending on how old the Xanor already was when you got it and the conditions it has been stored in, the potency might be very low to non-existent. The manufacturer sets the expiration date at 5 years after being manufactured, but I have heard many reports from people taking xanax pills that are ten years old and still worked fine.

how strong are onyx that come from safe pharma. Are they alprazolom, or oxepam? steve ## According to my research, Onax is a name brand for 1mg or 2mg Alprazolam tablets. Whether they are from Safe Pharma or another pharmacy, there's really no way to know ahead of time how it might effect you if you've never taken it before. This is because medications can and usually do effect everyone differently. If you have a pill on hand I can go ahead and research the imprint for you to help determine how many milligrams it has.

Australia is country of origin. ## Based on your description, the closest match I'm finding is a white oblong bar-shaped pill, marked with "2" on one side and "XANAX" on the other. This pill is also tri-scored. Family bought in Cozumel. They said it was zanax. No bottle was given. Round blue pill, that is scored on one side with d on top of scored part and 10 on bottom part. The other side with 2 M's or 2 W's overlapping each other. ## This is not alprazolam but DIAZEPAM 10mg. Found a rectangular pill with the imprint of ALP one one side and 3 lines on back. what are these? ## While I can't be 100% certain, since this appears to be a medication of foreign manufacture, what I'm finding it listed as is a 2mg Alprazolam tablet, a generic for Xanax, that's manufactured by Gador, S. I need to find out what my sone is taking if it could be dngerouse ## I'm not really understanding your description of the pill. Are you saying that this pill has an "S" OR a "score line"? Or does it have both? Right now the closest match I can find to your description is that of an oblong white pill marked "S | 900" on one side and blank on the other. This is identified as Alprazolam 0.25 mg. - a commonly abused anti anxiety medication. Have you sat down and talked to your son about this? I would think that he should know very well what he is putting into his body.

I was taking qualitest alprazalam t (generic) last night and it got caught in my throat and so I crushed it with my teeth and when I swallowed it was like a jalapeno, pure fire, and it burned for several minutes...I drank water, a lot, and it just kept burning...What can I do...Jim ## In the future, you should make sure to take all pills with a full, 8 ounce glass of water, to try to prevent that from happening. Crushing it with your teeth is never a good idea, as you've experienced. Are there ANY pharmaceutical companies that make Alprazolam that look exactly like the real thing-scored on both sides,but no #'s or letters? ## These are almost oval in shape and have no markings but where you can split the pill in 2, they are green and honestly i ate one and felt nothing. they had the taste but no effect. I was told they came from a blister pack and it said they were 2mgs , are there such pills out there ## It is possible, but if it has no markings, then it is NOT from a legal US approved manufacturer and there is no way to tell if it contains Alprazolam, or if it does, if it contains the correct amount.
