I am 35+, female, and have recently started trying for conception. I used to take alprax (alprazolam) for anxiety and sleep disorders and it is been months since i left taking those. My fertile window starts from today and i took alprax .5mg yesterday night, as was not able to sleep durong night from last 3-4 days(i forgot about the possible side effects and fertile window approaching)... My concern is, when should i start trying for conception to ensure that one tablet does not affect the fetus in case i conceive in this cycle... should i miss 1-2 days in this cycle ? Should i miss the whole cycle and start trying next month. Or one tablet .5mg is not going to affect adversely... I filled my 1mg Xanax prescription from India. The pills are round, the size of a dime, blue colored, and they have no markings except for the a line on one side. I'm worried because I took one and I am 7 months PREGNANT. It seemed just like any other Xanax does but there has been no way for me to find out if they are really Xanax or not. I'm sorry, but given that there are thousands of drugs on the market, I can't possibly list all that may be contraindicated for you. However, I can tell you that there are no problems, or interactions listed between it and Synthroid. The FDA does warn that Alprazolam carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability. The taste is all that matters. If it tastes bitter after sitting on your tongue, I mean reallllllly nasty bitter, it's real. Also, on the real ones the "g" is more octagonal and the counterfeits are more like this "G". ## You shouldn't have to worry about a fake pill when you're obtaining your medication legitimately through a real pharmacy. A white rectangular pill marked with "G 372 2" (the G being octagonal as Jake mentioned), is in fact a real 2mg Alprazolam tablet manufactured by Greenstone, with a National Drug Code of 59762-3722. Round blank and on other side 111(large and centered) ## @AI, There is a round white pill with "111" on one side (above a score line) and blank on the back. It's reportedly identified as a 0.5mg orally disintegrating alprazolam tablet. For verification, the manufacturer is Par Pharmaceuticals and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 49884-0111. It's also approximately 10 millimeters in size. I hope this helps!

blank on one side. other side has either 06-6 or 60-6 and am told these are .5 mg alprazolam/xanax ## There is no 5mg Alprazolam, it is only available in a maximum of 2mgs, in the regular release, did you possibly mean 0.5mgs? And also, can you double check that marking? I can't find anything similar in any of the prescription drug databases, as Alprazolam or anything else. Are they from the U.S. or elsewhere? I filled my Alprazolam prescription from a pharmacy that I have done business with. But, there is a potency problem this time, and although the items are in blister packs, the state that they are Aldix-1, white oval, J imprinted on front, back scored, R imprinted on top of back, S on bottom. However, post # 1 is correct about the possibility of either dosage varying by plus or minus 20%. From what I understand, that's the amount of wiggle room generic meds are allowed to have. Furthermore, this doesn't even take into account the different inactive ingredients (including their quality), which play a known role in how well we metabolize/absorb the tablet as a whole. They have just been manufactured by different companies, which is very common with generics. The one with the S 902 marking is made by Dava Pharmaceuticals and they do list it as containing 1mg of Alprazolam. Found half white and half clear capsule filled w peach powder. Capsule looks white and pink peachish when full, but is clear and white when emptied. It is supposed to be a new form of a Roxy, but is said to be compound. Anyone else seen? ## Any manufactured tablet, or capsule in the U.S. that is available by prescription will have markings on it to enable its identification, this is required by law. However, if it is something that was done by a compounding pharmacy, which was specially ordered by a doctor, then there would be no markings and it may be difficult to determine exactly what it contains, unless you would pay to have it lab tested somewhere.
