Can you overdose on benzo's? Can't you take a high dose of xanax and be really impaired up but never od? It gets dangerous when you mix alcohol and benzo's. NEVER MIX ALCOHOL AND BENZOS.

I'm sorry, but that is not correct. Benzodiazepines, such as Alprazolam can cause depression of the central nervous system and taking that many could result in heart and lung failure, which could be fatal, if someone didn't receive supportive medical treatment in time.

I'm not sure who told you it wasn't possible, but it is and it has happened.

Not being a d***, but u can absolutely die from a benzo overdose. It usually happens when they are mixed with something else like opiates, alcohol, or especially methadone! But if you take enough of them by themselves u definitely can kill yourself....SO BE CAREFUL! Know your dosage

That's the absolute truth. My thoughts verbatim, basically. I've seen more good people for from the opiate-benzo combo... with Methadone being probably the most dangerous & likely to be lethal... but Oxycontin & Morphine both have a high body count, when paired with Benzos, especially Xanax. It's a bad look. I don't know a single person that regularly abuses Xanax that isn't an absolute mess, and danger to others.I know 1 person that takes it exactly as prescribed

Is alprazolam [Trika-1] real? I can't tell. It comes in a blister pack from India and it doesn't seem to be the same as what I had been prescribed.

Yes it can happen - there is a kid that took TRIKA-1 and had numerous amounts of Xanax bars in his possession and his father found him on the kitchen floor and he is in the ICU in a coma right now with a dim prognosis.
