ALPRAZOLAM I.P. - what does I.P. stand for?

The IP basically just signifies that it is a generic and that is the name that it is internationally known under, it stands for International non-Proprietary, a name brand, such as Xanax, would be considered a Proprietary name. Some pharmacies may include the N, or phrase it differently, so you may also see some referred to as INP on INN.

It is done to let doctors and pharmacists know what they are working with. For instance, if someone is traveling in a foreign country and they run out of a vital medication, by looking at those types of labels, the doctor or pharmacist would know whether they need to look under the name brand to find an equivalent or if that is already the generic name, which they would most likely find it under.

The names brands are not all universal, but the generics names are, in most cases.

IP on Indian alprazolam packs just means that they are up to Indian pharmaceutical quality,IP stands for India pharmaceutical.

Yrs .mk sure they're in the blister pk still. These are being pressed. Alko 1 or Nuetec pharm should be labeled on blister pk

Had all those marks on my blister pack as I always did except for the 27 US Dollars taxes included stamp at the bottom. Up until then they were fantastic and now they're bad and taste like chalk and they are in the blister packs.
